It was agreed that the Cleanscene Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday, 16th September 2015. Venue for the Gala Dinner is still to be confirmed. Watch this space for more updates on this years Gala Dinner.

NCSA invites entries to ‘Gerry Goldberg -Legends’ and ‘Industry Achievers’ awards

Initiated and managed by the National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA), applications are now being invited for the ‘NCSA Gerry Goldberg –Legends Award’. Recognising individual excellence in the cleaning industry, the Award is open to all people working in our industry, whether service or supply–side.

The NCSA is also awarding an Industry Achievers Award, which is aimed at encouraging further training.

LEGENDS AWARD : This award is to recognize Individuals who have made significant contributions to the Cleaning Industry over many years of service within it. Such things as improving standards, safety aspects, training, serving with various Industry associations, longevity of service and other aspects that may be deemed to have been of a significant nature in various forms.

This year's federal budget in many ways lived up to its hype. It was mostly a dull and boring affair - but there were some surprises.

Small business owners have plenty to smile about. The 1.5% tax rate cut has been confirmed, but it's also been extended to owners of unincorporated small businesses.

Small Businesses also get an immediate deduction for individual assets costing less than $20,000.
