The Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) assists small businesses in NSW. We understand the issues that small businesses face and are here to help. We do this in three ways:
Support through Small Biz Connect
Small Biz Connect offers local business advisors who provide quality face-to-face business advice. Through the program you can access advice on managing your small business and develop key business skills.
Speaking up for Small Business through Advocacy
We give small businesses a voice. We help you deal with unfair practices and onerous administrative burdens that affect your business.
Dispute Resolution Services
We provide dispute resolution services to business owners in dispute with another business or government. We aim to help keep your costs and stress levels down. Advice and informal mediation is offered at no charge.
If you don’t speak English, we have a range of resources in different languages on our website, we can also arrange an interpreter service so you can access help directly.
Our services are subsidised by the NSW Government.
